Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!

Wind Shield Factor -10 below this morning.  I feel so bad that my DH has to work outside all day.  He is so cold when he comes home and it takes him hours to warm up.  Hopefully 1.5  more years until he can retire.

Hey Roz - cold here too!  Even colder in Michigan - my power had went out with the recent storm and then it got SO cold.  My daughter stopped by yesterday to make sure the power was on and the house wasn't flooded with broken pipes... that would be awful to come back to!

For some reason food is on my mind today.  I *think* I'm starving, but I know I'm not.  I have a meeting at another location this afternoon, and they usually have "munchies".  We'll see what that entails.  I need to get another protein drink in.  I could have made one to take with me, but I left my travel mug in the car and I'll be darned if I want to go out and get it!!  I need to get another protein drink in.  Oh - and there's a birthday celebration for one of my guys with cake - I will have a piece of that.

B - coffee and a protein hot chocolate

S - another coffee when I got to work

L - Smart Ones frozen dinner (I asked the guys what they were getting for lunch and they said Subway - I decided to be "good" and stick to my eating plan.

Have you been taking your Prilosec or another anti-acid medicine?  When I skip mine I get hunger pangs.

Good Girl sticking with your planned lunch especially when you know there might be munchies an cake later on.

I've been craving chocolate today!  Fortunately I don't have any in my drawer at work.  I need to go to Walmart on get a bag of SF baking chocolate chips for these kinds of days.

Sounds good!  Oh, I just noticed the chips...lol

The chips had 26g of carbs, they won't kill me (at night at least).  Good thinking, next time I go to the pharmacy I might pick up some SF chocolate - it's the only place I've found it with sucralose - the health food store has maltitol as a sweetener and that stuff is EVIL!!

Ooh, I lied.  The online store I get my grocery deliveries does some sweetened with stevia and erythritol.  I'll give it a try... 'seek and ye shall find' :-D

Well, its really warm here.  In high 70s after down to freezing last week.  Ran 6 miles on Sunday.  Made some blueberry lemon bread from my meyer lemons.  Packaged in 1 slice bags and put in freezer for portion control.  Will probably have one slice a day unless I see my scale creep up. 

B: applesauce + protein coffee + 1 slice lemon/blueberry bread

S: cucumbers

S: tangelo

L: greenbeans w tomatoes/+1/2 sandwhich roast beef/alpine lace swiss cheese on double fiber bread

S: radishes

S: protein coffee

D: soup + cottage cheese

S: Dannon lite greek yogurt--luv the blueberry flavor

So Jealous of 70s!!!!   Since I started baggy individual servings and freezing them I have done almost 100% with snacks.

Blueberry lemon bread sounds wonderful!   I rarely eat anything with the word bread in it..although tonight I might have a piece of garlic bread with my spaghetti sauce and leave out the pasta.

bitter cold here for us, never made it above 30.  And a breeze.  I would hate to be out in it all day, just feeding the ponies and donkeys is enough for me.
