Menus and Miles Sunday Feb. 24th
Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Happy Sunday! I've got a busy morning before church but didn't want to forget to touch base with my LW's so you were first on my list! I woke up to brown grass this morning instead of snow and that makes me think spring is close behind.....Yeah!!! I hate wishing the months away but I can't wait for spring!!! If it wasn't for our DD's and Grandkids I think we would spending winter in sunny FL with our friends.
The birthday party was great yesterday and except for 3 small pieces of chocolate from the candy dish spread over the afternoon I was pretty proud of myself. I ate meat/cheese and skipped the hoagie buns and the cake and ice cream didn't even tempt. me. Not being stressed by having the party at my house, Good company and lots of busy kids could be the reason for my successful day but the scales don't care why it happened just that it did.

WOW a size 6...awesome!
When we walked out of church the snow was coming down like crazy and the ground was completely covered....feeling like spring was coming soon didn't last long.....
Change is good sometimes. I notice that when I eat the same meals over and over again the scale just kindof sits there. If I change up a day or so I notice a difference (sometimes good and sometimes bad).

I'm a bit pear shaped so I'd be bigger in slacks (I've only bought skirts, but I guess I'd be at least a 10 in slacks).

He he, well my shape's better than it used to be, but losing a few more lbs would help reduce my saggy bits!! ;-)

Hi Roz,
My parents spend the winter in Florida and love it. My mom wants to stay home next year, but I bet my dad won't let her if they are still able to travel.
I'm glad someone was good this weekend because I sure was not... DH's nephew, his wife and their daughter came up and spent the weekend with us. The weather was horrible Friday and Saturday. I fixed a homemade chocolate pound cake for them to have something sweet - bad decision!! I did take most of what was left to DD's this morning. I have eaten way too much of it this weekend.
B: Protein Decaf Coffee

haha...we all of the same problem! We love to eat and we love sweets. I still dump occasionally but it's just enough it keeps me under control most days. I takes me about 2 minutes willpower to get rid of left over sweets before I give in. If I'm tired or worked up about something it may take a little longer. I even put DH's Girl Scout Cookies in the freezer...he wasn't happy...LOL.
Looks like you did good on the Protein....that should help.
