WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

I'm doing the Happy Dance today..........my scales were at 117 this morning!!!!!!!! I weighed myself 3 times!! Last month I hit 118 a few days and that was exciting but 117....WOW .....I haven't seen that for quite awhile. I usually hold steady at 119 on most days. I'm sure it has something to do with being sick and my loss of appetite but usually I gain when I don't eat (it might catch up to me for a few days). I've ate a lot of extra carbs this week like crackers and popcorn because they were the only things that didn't make me nauseated and they didn't take much effort to prepare or eat. Before WLS I would fear a Gain but not anymore. I feel confident that as soon as I feel "normal" again and can follow my routine completely I will be holding steady at 119 again.

Good for you Roz!! I got on the scales this morning and almost fainted because mine went in the wrong direction... But I am getting back on track today. Even called a gym and talked with them. I really want to jog again, but the weather here has just been horrible. I am signed up for a 5K 3/9 but I'll be walking it if I don't get out there and run some.

Go Roz, it should've happened yesterday though (Sunday weigh in 'n all). I lost my 1/2lb regain, let's hope I get somewhere decent by next Sunday!! ;-) I think this cold weather doesn't help with losing though. I'm so ready for spring it's crazy!!
