WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!
Thursday....Does anyone enjoy Thursdays or do they just mean TOMORROW IS FRIDAY...YEAH!!!!!!!! It's hard to believe this is the last day of February. The older you get the faster time seems to go.
Taking my Mom for her 3 month checkup. I just gave her the "what to wear" talk. I sure hope she listens!!

Hi Roz,
My mom used to give me the what to wear talk-LOL!!! It is funny how our roles reverse. We are always telling my mom what she should and shouldn't wear now. Hope she gets a good report.
I'm off tomorrow, so got to finish everything I need to today at work.

Mom lost 16.5 pounds since her last visit in November and he wasn't happy! He said her sugar was better than it has been in years but that could be because I am watching her sweets or it could be because she is not eating and she lost so much weight.
I went through her fridge and cupboards and all of the groceries we bought over a week ago haven't even been touch except for the desserts, pickles and beets. I'm going to talk to my brother and sister about us taking turns delivering her at least 1 meal a day.
Has you knee been hurting or just because you started walking again?
Good Menu!

16.5 pounds is a lot of weight for her to lose since November. I bet she forgets to eat.
Probably would be a good idea to take her a meal a day. Maybe that would encourage her to eat.
My knee is just from starting back to walk and jog just a little bit. I've been so sore the last two days I could hardly walk.... it is amazing how fast you can get out of shape.
Thursday is just TGINF to me - Thank God it's Nearly Friday!! ;-D I'm looking forward to the slightly longer days and warmer weather of March.

I'm going to try and make your pancakes this weekend. I think I have all of the ingredients now. Also going to make some flourless PB cookies but I need to pick up some NSA applesauce.
