3.2 miles - WTG!!  Do you go alone or do you have someone to walk with?

Thanks Huneypie.  I like to walk alone-I turn my iphone music on and walk and sing(silently of course)!!  DH used to walk with me, but he is not walking much right now.

Do you think you will ever make a wedding cake? How are your knees?

Good Menu!

Years ago I made a cake for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary.  I've made several non-traditional wedding cakes.

I'm seriously thinking that it might be something I would enjoy when I retire and have the time to devote to it.

My knees are much better thanks.  I guess I did too much too fast.  I let them rest through the weekend.  Walked Monday and walked and ran some yesterday.

I think our cake lady makes a pretty good living making cakes and if you really enjoy it that might be a great thing to do later on but you are way to young to think about retiring yet.

LOL-I really only have to do 1 1/2 more years until I can retire, but if I am feeling good at 60, I will work another year to get the benefit of adding this extra work and income in my retirement check because it will make a big difference.

I'm going to be 60 in June.  I've only been here 3 years and I still love my job so I can't see me retiring any time soon.  DH really wants to retire next year but I don't think we could make it without him working.
