WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!

I don't think I've ever had a more beautiful winter drive than I had this morning. The snow covered trees were awesome! I posted a couple pictures on my facebook but they don't even compare to the Awe I felt this morning. The roads were cleared by our wonderful township workers so I really got to enjoy the view.

Well I'm grateful for the longer days and the milder weather. The clocks change at the end of this month so that'll mean even longer days.
I'm starting to fall of the wagon. I had mostly duck for lunch, but a little sweet n sour beef and pork - no doubt I'll pay for that tonight with the ensuing upsets that'll cause!! :-S

No, it's really hard to tell the difference between shredded duck and shredded pork (they sometimes pass off shredded pork as shredded duck coz it's cheaper). I didn't try it 'til I was an adult because I spent my teenage years as a vegetarian (you'd never believe that now, but I was determined to make this surgery work) plus because as you say it's quite rich.
The only thing I can't bring myself to eat meat wise is chicken skin. I've never had it in my life as I didn't like the texture even as a small kid. I tried it a few months back and got as far as putting it between my teeth and couldn't do it. I don't really go for bacon either - I have to force it down if I'm served it (don't like the texture plus it's too salty but I won't waste good protein).

It would be nice to live where it doesn't snow but I would miss all of the mountains and seasons Our schools were closed so I didn't have to do the bus run for our DGD so I got to really enjoy the ride to work. Our township men had the roads really cleaned up. Then when I got closer to town everything looked dirty and plowed in.
Congrats on the Scales!!!
