Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!

Happy Friday LW's!!!!   We had a wonderful vacation!  If you ever get the opportunity to take a cruise...do it!  I'm not sure about all cruises but the Disney cruise was so relaxing and fun.  It's was cheaper than going to to Disney and very relaxing. After our trip was paid for (by DD#1)  DH and I only spent $30.00 during the trip.  Had the excitement of our ship picking up some refugees drifting in the ocean, ATE A LOT, DH went snorkeling and swimming with the stingrays, ATE A LOT, got to see all of the characters numerous times, ATE A LOT, danced and sang, ATE A LOT, the shows were wonderful, ATE A LOT, and I got to witness 700+ of the most hardworking, polite, considerate, employees I have ever seen.  DH told are room host that we  were treated like Royalty. 

And did I mention WE ATE A LOT!!!   I think I did a great job.  I concentrated on Protein (lots of fish) and all of the fresh fruit was wonderful.  I did order a dessert every evening but I only took 2 bites.  All but the last evening was from the SF selection.

My scales are up a couple of pounds but my ankles and fingers are swollen from the heat.  It happens every summer and even though I don't like the number I know it's normal for me.

Hi Roz,

Welcome back. It sounds like you had a great time. That is wonderful. Hopefully the swelling will go down soon. I swell when I'm on vacation not because of the weather, but because of all the extra salt in the food I eat. Glad to have you back.

We missed you Roz and are thrilled you had a great time.  Cruises are fun and there is lots of food but there are good choices if you can pass up the bad choices,  angry

It's been a rainy day here but I went to Zumba this morning and so I got some exercise in.  I have the Carriage Parade at the local Steeplechase tomorrow and have put flowers on the carriage but that is about all I can do to get ready with the rain.  Glad the pony doesn't have white legs or they would be red brown from the mud.  Hope she isn't too hard to get clean in the morning.

So glad you had a great vacation.  Did anybody get sea sick?  I'm sure you did better than I would have with the sweets!!

Glad to have you back.  You didn't snorkel??  I bet you got some good exercise dancing.

Good for you concentrating on protein.  I know when I eat out I can hardly get my rings on/off the next day because of the sodium.

Crazy day, didnt get too much computer time. Had the munchies, I thinks its the pms getting me!
