A New Year.....maybe a new me

Last year was hell.  Never trust a 3rd party call center person in India for correct information.  My employer, who remains nameless,  uses a 3rd party contractor to answer questions about insurance when open enrollment.  This past October, I asked for the new Insurance Carrier's number and contracted them myself!  Moral of the story, if you want something done do it yourself.  With the new insurance, the procedure is covered BUT I have to get my primary care to do a preauthorization.  I really need to get this moving because my endometrosis has decided to come back and I tried doing Lupron.  Bad mistake, it made me very irritable and actually made things worse.  Plus I would like my knees to stop hurting.
