Marcy, I know what you are talking about as for the longest I was in denial about what was really going on with me. Hey I was young but had so many things wrong with me. I just figured this was my cross to bear. Because always in the back of mind I was skinny. Well God opened my eyes to the fact that I was huge and that I was slowly dying. That realization was scarier than the thought of having the surgery. In fact the idea of having the surgery is what has started to comfort me. I am so glad that I am being blessed with this amazing tool and I will use it as such. Keep your mind off the negative and let the positive flow. It is natural to feel a bit scared but don't dwell on it as we want the outcome to be successful. I am praying that your road will be straight and not crooked. I am praying that your surgery will be uneventful and that your recovery be a speedy one. Blessings to you as you continue on your journey.

Hi Marcy, Just want to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery date. I know exactly what you will be feeling in the next few weeks. It is a very exciting and anxious time for sure. I also had peace of mind on the decision to have the surgery because I had done alot of praying about the whole thing. HI MARCY, JUST THOUGHT I SHOULD DROP A FEW LINES TO ENCOURAGE YOU. I TOO HAD ATNEA, & WHEN MY INSURANCE GOD DEBBIE FINALLY SUBMITTED EVERTHING, 95 PAGES OF MEDICAL RECORDS, I WAS APPROVED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS WITH A SURGERY DATE 40 DAYS LATER!!! GOD IS SO VERY GOOD, SOMETIMES HE ALLOWS THINGS TO TEACH US PATIENCE & TO BE GREATFUL FOR THE SMALL THINGS. I HAD OPEN RNY ON 03-24-03 AT MY HEAVEST OF 347#. I'M 14 WEEKS POST-OP & AM DOWN 75#. I HAVE NOT WEIGHED THIS WEEK BECAUSE I'M ON VACATION. BUT I'VE BEEN WORKING OUT ANYWAY. BE PATIENT, YOU WILL GET YOUR LETTER. GOD BLESS, CASS.
