I just need to make it through the weekend.

I am so excited. Thank God that I had a busy week at work. I can't sleep at night thinking about what my life will be like. I know that recovery will be hard but I can't imagine being thin. 

My Mom has been really sick but decided to come and stay with me during my surgery. I have really limited the number of people who I have told about the surgery. My work family is really close but this is a little too personal for me to share with the world. I think I fear telling people and then not losing any weight. 

I know that this surgery is a turning point in my life. I am a hip-hop head and I listen to a lot of music. I keep finding songs that I think are all about encouraging me during this time. As I hear them, I will add them to my playlist (if I can figure out how to add it to my profile).
