My appetite is definitely back! I haven't given in and broken any stitches by eating what I shouldn't, but the idea of eating so many foods is insane!

Today I wanted Five Guys burger and cajun fries, grilled cheese sandwich, and spaghetti and meatballs. lol the struggle is real!

Two weeks of liquid (well 9 more days) seems so long!

I was so glad to be able to shower at home! I still have a lot of tape residue ! 

Trying to sleep in my bed was awful! I couldn't get comfortable and because my bed and sheets are soo soft and comfy, they had too much give and my arms would slip when I would try and pull myself up....instant belly pain! So I got up and slept in the recliner. But what I really want, is to just sleep on my side, cuddled up and relaxed. I'm not worried thought, because I know that the pain won't last forever!! 

After 3 days in the hospital, finally back home. Great to be back. It was rough lol I had not read anything about post-anesthesia nausea, which is what really caught me off guard. And the fact that my surgery was delayed 5 hours! This is been a total lesson in patience and perseverance.

Happy Re-birthday to Me! Headed to the hospital...

Tomorrow is the big day! I feel proud of myself for making it through the pre-op stages, which seemed to last forever! I think the liquid today was harder because I physically could eat, and had things I like to eat still lingering versus after tomorrow, I won't have the option to eat a piece of cheesecake. A little apprehensive, but Jesus is my help and strength! He's seen tomorrow before it happened so I can rest assured that He has me in His hands!

Had my last 'meal' before the surgery!!! Steak & macaroni and cheese & cheesecake? Do you guys miss them at all? lol

Went this afternoon. Can't have beef for 7 weeks? Yeah, that's why I'm going to end up losing the weight!  I'm such a beef girl!  lol

8 days until my scheduled gastric bypass! I'm so excited for a new chapter in my life to begin!
