I still need to lose 8 pounds, so my surgery was pushed up to Nov 15. I am doing great, losing about a pound a day, so I am confident I will be having surgery on that date. My relatives were not quite sure what to think of my having surgery so close to Thanksgiving, but I will be very careful to watch what I eat so I don't get sick and upset everybody. My family would love me no matter how fat I am, but I know they worry about me being the next in line to be a diabetic amputee. How wonderful to not have to worry about that anymore! Praise God!
