Baby steps

Jul 20, 2011

Now that I've lost 75 pounds, I went today for an interview with vocational rehab for the handicapped. I'll probably be accepted into the program and be able to find a part time job somewhere just to get me out of the house and provide another income in case my husband's current health problems force him to an early retirement. My health is so improved. I don't know what my A1C level is (The lab never told me) but it has to be good because my daily blood sugar count is about 115. As soon as this heat lets up, I want to start back to walking. Everything is 100% better than just a few months ago when I was so sick I was bedfast. I really wasn't sure I would ever have a normal life. But my husband was praying for me and the church was praying for me and God surely answers prayers! The nurses at Ross Home Health were surely an answered prayer because they were so kind and caring. So, life is good.
