We Saw Jay Black from Jay & the Americans

UPDATE 11/11/06
Well tonight we had tickets for Westbury Music Fair again. We have been running around so much this month. We saw Jay Black from Jay & the Americans. You would have to be at least my age to know who is is. He is now 68 years old but still caqn belt out his old songs. Steve & I went to dinner and then went to the show. We took a few new pictures when we got home. Take a luck and tell me what you think. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! By for now!

Hi everyone Today I had a great SV & NSV at Curves. Once a month they weigh and measure me and today was my day. Since last month I have lost 6.8 lbs. & 11 inches! I am very, very happy - .5" from my bust, 1" from my waist, 3.5" from my abdomen, 4" from my thighs (2" from each) & 2" from my arms (1" from each). Exercise is certainly working for me. Some days I really don't feel like getting in the car and going to Curves but it is worth it!

Hi everyone
Today I went back to my PCP for a checkup. First I was very happy that I have lost 5 pounds since my fill last Thursday!
My doctor was so pleased with how I am doing that he took me off of two more medicines - amaryl for diabetes and singulair for asthma. He said to quit both of them but call him just in case I have any problems without them, but that he doesn't think I will have any problems. All of my lab work came back perfect too! I am so happy that I am doing the happy dance!
None of this would have been possible without my beautiful LapBand!

Update 11/2/06 News About My 6th Fill!

Hi everyone I am back from getting my 6th fill. I have 6cc. in my VG band. I hadn't lost anything this month at all - I just kept losing and regaining the same 2 pounds about once a week for the last 4 weeks. This time my doctor gave me a bigger fill. 1cc. instead of just 1/2. He checked to see how much was in the band and there was 5cc. so nothing had leaked. For some reason I had very little restriction. Now since the fill today I can feel a big difference. Liquids are going down fine but I am full on just a little bit of soup!
I can drink liquids slowly but only with small sips. I just hope that this fill lasts and the restriction stays with me for a while. I want this to be my sweet spot! Monday I am having a barium swallow test at the hospital. My doctor just wants to check everything out and make sure that I don't get too tight. The only time I had that test was the day after surgery in the hospital.Well tomorrow I am off to the oral surgeon to have an impacted wisdom tooth pulled - what fun!

Update 10/19/06: Little Cosmo Kitten & I have been hanging out all day. My furry grandchild likes to play constantly! Then he gets tired and naps. In between he eats. I had a small chicken ceasar salad for lunch and he mooched half of my chicken! I ate some cheese to make up my protein. That's about it for now. Update 10/18/06:
Tonight I went to the Long Island LapBand Support Group meeting in Northport. What a great group of people. It is so nice to talk to other people who have so much in common with me! I went home feeling so good! I really am happy with my Band! It is the best thing I ever did for myself.
Tomorrow I am going to my DD's & future DS's apartment to take care of Cosmo kitten while they are out of town for a couple of days. I'm going to keep him company and spoil him a little bit...

Well I added Clay like you guys asked for. It took me over an hour to figure out how. Then it turned out to be so easy that I must be getting senile. The video code is written in Html. The posting area has a button on the top left that says source. It you click on it then you can paste the Html code that you get from video code. Then you save the post on the bottom. When you go back to the profile the video appears. Pretty neat if I do say so myself.Some people asked me how I copied all of the info from my old profile. I went to my old profile, highlighted everything and copied it. Then I went to the new profile and just pasted it all in. The only thing I had to add was highlighting and changing the font, color and size. Oh made it really easy. Good night guys, I love you all!
