Updating

Well, it's been a while since my last update. So here it is. In the beginning of August I signed my consent and they sent it to the insurance. Well today, I received a letter saying I was denied. I was so upset. I cried all morning. I must've read it a dozen times, because it wasnt really making sense to me.  Then I put a post up about it in one of the forums, and one of the members asked me exactly what it said, so I typed it word for word. She made a great point, and now that I read it over again, it does sort of make sense.  She said that it sounds like they are just denying any extra inpatient stay.

I often get my hopes up so high sometimes and I'm quickly knocked down. It's happened all throughout my life. So I guess I just could'nt get passed that 1st sentence "From the clinical information received, medical necessity of an acute inpatient hospitalization for the laparoscopic banding gastric procedure being requested has not been established. "  All I saw in my mind was NOPE, WE'RE HERE TO KNOCK YOUR DREAMS OUT FROM UNDER YOU.
