Wow Sept 28th is right around the weekend corner now!!! My surgery was on a Thursday too - good day!! I love you profile and adore the video from the Dixie Chicks! That is one of my very favorite songs of theirs but I had never seen the video!! Now back to you - I want to wish you the very best in your surgery and recovery and new life!!! This is my best advice to you - on surgery day just keep your thoughts happy and positive. Don't let anything negative near you. I was advised to think of happy things that day, my favorite people, cherished memories, think of my loved ones and my favorite things. It helped me a lot. I focused on only good things and kept my thoughts positive. I do believe it helped. And once you are home, just stay positive, stay focused and follow your doctor's orders to the letter. You will do great I know it!!! Remember we are always around and here for questions, support and hugs! Good luck to you and God Bless you!! Jeanne in Miami :)

Good luck, Kathy. You'll do just fine. Just do what your surgeon tell you, to the letter. I'm 2 yrs post-op and am a "success" story:) You will soon be starting YOUR journey. Don't be afraid. Relax and just take it a day at a time and before you know it, 2 years will have passed and you'll be THIN!! God bless. Sue
