Robert Rodgers

"I work as a nurse and I met Dr. Rodgers when I was working in the hospital. I found him to be a very caring and concerned physician while taking care of his patients. I then got a job in the clinic that he has is office in. I work for an internal medical doctor. At my first visit with him I had so many questions he was very patient with me and answered all of them and went into more detail about others. He was pleasant and comfortable to be around. He truly cares for his patients and what he is doing. He believes that over weight patients deserves a second chance at life and he wants to be the one to help them get that. His office staff is nice and is very helpful. Future patients need to know that he may not be doing this kind of surgery much longer due to malpractice insurance going up. I was of course upset but he did mention that the patients he has done the surgery on he will continue to follow. He recommends to do a lot of research and has recommended a support group on Eglin AFB to attend. You do not have to be in the military to attend the meetings. He is in the process of getting aftercare programs going but due to the malpractice insurance issue I believe this might be on hold. I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in having the surgery and I would also encourage them to do a lot of research on the many different kinds of surgeries out there."
