Sheryl had a very difficult day Thursday. They did emergency surgery and found a leak in the connection involving the intestine from the previous bypass. This intestine was so small and atrophied that he had to stretch it to connect during Monday's surgery. This old intestine was where the leak was which caused almost three gallons of toxins to be pouring through her body.The doctor indicated she will continue in critical condition the next 3-4 days so keep praying. We did communicate with her last night and she even wrote a note saying she felt so much better....thank you morphine! Thank you everyone for your prayers. I do believe she will continue to get better and be back here posting in a couple of weeks!

Sheryl, I had tears come into my eyes as I read an update on you this morning. We all have this surgery to be healthy and then something like this happens. I am praying that God Almighty will keep his hand on you and continue to guide the surgeons hands and mind. That you will have a speedy recovery and come back here and tell us all how glad you are that you had this surgery and how happy you are.
