First Day Of My Protein Diet!!!!!

Hey O&H fam so today is the first day of my protein diet ....I drank a whey protein shake this morning and i most say it's not so bad it kind of taste like powder milk but yea i feel full like i just ate i full meal so lets see how long this last.....then i will drink another in bout a hour and then a small protein dinner about 6 and i should be fine....I just pray i can stink with this routine for some weeks...will update yall soon!!!

My boyfriend.....well i guess soon to be ex is not supporting my choice to have this wls at all from the first time i brought it up a year and a half ago.I thought he would finally come around but its seems as the time get closer and closer his attitude bout the whole thing is getting worse and worse.He went so far to tell me if i go through with it he's not going to be with me..REALLY but I'm so over it and pretty much like do what you do...I mean don't get me wrong i love the hell out this man....but i just feel if he feel like that and don't want to support me on a good decision to better my health and make me happy then he obviously ain't the man for me.... and also why wait to see am i going to do it shit leave now cause the surgery date is set and I'm not letting anything hold me back.....But really not understanding why he feel that why everybody i talk to about it including the nurse from my PCP offices say it's his insecurities and i kinda think so too...but what you think?????????

Protein Diet

So on my last post i was unable to get everything that happen at the nutrition class out cause I wasn't feeling well...So now I'm back and feeling much better:) Anyhow i learned a whole lot i didn't know and as you know got my surgery date... I was also informed that i had to loose another 10lbs by November 17 which is my per-op for surgery..So went and brought some Whey Protein Shake (strawberry flavor) and i guess i will start that in about a week but for now its small portion meals of bake chicken,tuna, and ground turkey with lots and lots of vitamin water and water....wish me luck lol and i will update you guys when I start the Protein shakes!!!!!!

Well today I went to the nutrition/information class and I finally got a surgery date and it is Dec 9 2011 
.....Well other then that don't have too much to say tonight I'm not feeling good think I'm getting sick so I will get back with yall soon

Hey O&H Fam..so all the waiting, testing, and everything else i been going through this pass year and a half and guess what
....I finally got the call i been waiting for today at 5:09 for Lauren from Dr Kruah office saying i was APPROVED....I am Sooo happy that's just what i wanted and needed to hear....So i got an appointment on Monday 9/26/11 at 8 am to do a class and she said i will get my surgery date then supper excited..even tho i know this is just the beginning and i have a long journey ahead.....but soon as i find out my date i will be blasting it up there lol!!!!!

HEY O AND H FAM....SO ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 WEEKS AND I STILL HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING YET FROM MY INSURANCE SO I DECIDED TO CALL TO FIND OUT THE STATUS AND MY pcp DOCTOR REFERRAL COORDINATOR SAID THEY HAVENT RECEIVED ANYTHING FORM THE SURGE OFFICE SO I'M THINKING
.........SO I CALLED THEM AND THE NURSE SAID THEY WILL BE SENDING IT OFF TODAY AND I'M THINKING WOW THAT'S CRAZY CAUSE SHE TOLD ME THAT TWO WEEKS AGO....BUT ITS GOOD THO SO I GUESS IT STILL A WAITING GAME FOR NOW SO I GET BACK WITH YALL IN A COUPLE A WEEKS OR MAYBE BEFORE!!!!!

Hey let me give yall a quick update on whats going on.......so i went on the 24 of August to have my EKG done and it went well i was cleared 
FINALLY......So all my testes has been cleared and yesterday i spoke with the nurse at Dr. Krauh office and she said they will be sending it off for my insurance approval by the end of the week so now its just a waiting game.......Hopefully i hear something in the couple of weeks

OKAY LET ME GIVE YALL A LIL UPDATE ON WHATS BEEN GOING SO AS YOU SEEN FORM MY LAST POST I THOUGHT I WAS DONE WITH ALL MY CLEARANCE'S BUT DIS MORNING i GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THE NURSE AT MY SURGEN OFFICE SAYING THAT MY ECHO STRESS TEST CAME OUT GOOD BUT I NEED TO STILL GET A EKG DONE
........SO I WENT ON TO TELL HER HOW I ASK THE DOCTOR WHO PERFORM THE TEST THAT THE SURGEN ALSO WANTED A EKG DONE AND SHE SAID IT WASN'T REALLY NECESSARILY CAUSE THE ECHO STRESS TEST IS KIND OF THE SAME BUT LONGER AND SHOWS A LIL MORE WERE AS THE EKG IS ONLY LIKE 6 SECONDS.....SO I'M LIKE COOL THAT SHALL DO THEN..... So today i went to my last preop (Echo Stress Test) clearance....It seem like it took them forever to call me to the back to get the test started....but i most say all the nurses was so nice and made sure i was comfortable.....One nurse even shared her story with me about how she had the bypass seven years ago and how great she feels and had some encouraging words to say and showed me her scares....so nice of her.......but i was a Lil nervous and it made my blood pressure go up...but they more the nurses talk it eased my nerves and the test was a success
