I just spoke with Sheryl on the phone. She came through surgery just fine and is doing as well as can be expected. Dr. Newhoff said he didn't like the way her liver looked when he was in there and did a biopsy although he said he's sure it isn't cancer. I'll stop by and see Sheryl tomorrow and let you know more how she's doing after that. Welcome to the lighter side Sheryl!

Sheryl, we are surgery buddies! I hope you have an uncomplicated surgery and speedy recovery. Just remember that in the beginning things will be rough and unfamiliar, but soon you will learn how to live in this new style and you will be much healthier for it. 2 more days!!!!! i cant wait for my new birthday & my new way of life. happy dance happy dance!!!! i am so excited!!! we r leaving at 6 am for phoenix because i have a 300 appt with dr newhoff for my pre-ops & its a 5 hour drive & 1 hour later than it is in las vegas. well its 230 am now & i am still not even close to being packed & ready lolol. but not to worry...i have had my surgery week supplies all in one place for 2 months already. it will take me longer to pack for the pups & make sure i have all they need. we r leaving them with my girlfriend in phoenix (who is an angel in her own right) while i am in the hospital. sooooo...i really just wanted to say that i love all my AMOS brothers & sisters & wish u all the very best of luck no matter what step of the journey u r on. annie, georgia & irene...my 3 angels (aint i lucky?) u really r angels & i love u all. see u all after i get home from joining the losers club!
