I have my surgery sched for april 17th, and im worried he might not do it bacause I havent lost the 10%. rnrnI have done lots of other stuff he asked and didnt ask, but if I could lose 10% and keep it off I wouldnt be in this perdicament in the first place!! rnrnHe seems kinda snippy and short with me the two times ive met with him so far, but if he's as good a surgeon as I've heard I should just quit my whinning!!rnrnI quit coffee (I was a 40oz/day starbucks junkie), and quit sodas. I have been soooo much better about my water intake, (went from zero to 64oz/day), but I am at the exact same weight I was last august when I first met with him.rnrn I've gone up and down and back up, just like the rest of my life.rnrnWhat do you think of Dr Oh?

Right away Dr. Oh seemed really hilarious. He joked all the way through orientation. He was very helpful and it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about. rnrnThe office staff are great. They've all been through the process and are very helpful and sweet.rnrnUpdate: They discharged me permanately because I owed them $200. He will no longer see me so I now get fills at Northwest Fill Management in Arlington- which is way better.

Dr. Oh is an excellent surgeon. He is thorough, very experienced and I'm glad that I chose him. He is very well respected and has done many WLS. He is very matter of fact and can come across as aloof, but that is definitely overshadowed by his competence! I have been very pleased with my experience with him from the orientation on. He is very strict with the pre-op clear liquid diet as well as with the after care and post-op diet. Compared to what I've heard from others, he is probably conservative in that way - but I'd prefer that than to rush things and risk unnecessary complications. I've had a few issues with the office staff not being as responsive as I would have liked, but in general they do a good job. I would definitely recommend Dr. Oh to anyone considering WLS.

Dr Oh is more of a surgeon than a people person. He is funny in his seminar presentation but, in person he is way to busy and otherwise occupied. He is a highly recommended surgeon and has great numbers and very low complications. He does have an extensive program but, it seems somewhat hard to access.

My first impression of Dr. Oh came at the orientation. He was thorough in his explanations & the importance of following his instructions for the most success. He was also humorous, which was a surprise since I had heard otherwise. I feel very good about his surgical competence and really like the lifelong follow-up.

My first impression of Dr. Oh was that he was a little cold but now I see that he is very \"matter of fact\" and has a great sense of humor.rnHis staff are all fantastic - most have has WLS and can really relate and help.rnI think he could improve his bed-side manner a little.rnHe has the most comprehensive pre-op and post-op education and aftercare programs I have ever seen. I felt extremely well taken care of!!rnOverall I give him an excellent rating! I am glad I found my way to him!

He's simply the best!rnYes, one minute you love him one minute you hate him....haha........but like posted before he's not here to be friends with us!rnHe DOES want us to be successful! And that's what counts..........rnListen to him and you'll do good.rnHe's got a strict before and after regimen......but you have to listen and follow his guidelines.rnTina his nutritionist in his office and she also does the insurance approvals is just excellent. She's been on the \"before\" side so she knows what it's like and she's a wealth of information. His office staff is enjoyable. There is like 3 or 4 girls in there who has had this surgery so that's so nice.rnPost-Op~~Dr Oh is still the best in my eyes.rnHe's got himself one great assistant surgeon, he's new to his office. I don't have his name yet. It's no longer Srikanth........rnThis one is very familiar with revisions and he's totally sweet.rnDr. Oh explained things real well to my hubby after surgery.rnHis new assistant is so nice and he took out my staples today.rnHe's awesome too!rnI've seen his assistant on both of my post op appointments and he is really nice.rnDr Hirai is his assistant surgeon's name. I have seen him on all of my post op appts. He's really wonderful!
