It took me breaking down into tears before anyone would help me take a shower!. This does not reflect the entire staff, just one rotation of Nurse/Tech. If not for this incident, my stay would hace been much better.

Baptist Hospital staff were excellent. I never felt uncomfortable at all. They have made provisions for bariatric patients that make you feel comfortable. Every person from Admitting, down to the person that pushes you to surgery was great. They always confirmed my identity and what surgery I was having, which was very comforting.

I'v stayed in many Hospitals and as my 18 year old son stayed with me to help me and to calm me he was treated very well not like an intruder like some hospitals.

All rooms were private, very nice.

I felt right at home away from my home and would consider coming back in the future for any further operations that may be needed in the long run.

The nurses were great the pcts were great There was only one nurse one day that was not very caring and after lunch I never saw her again. I got really nauseated one evening and there were 2 nurses checking on me and the charge nurse was on the phone with my doctor several times until I got to feeling better.
If I am ever scheduled for another stay in the hospital and it is at all possible I will travel to Baptist.
