What did ya'll do today?

My marathon relay is the weekend and I'm still nervous so I "practiced" 3 out of the 4 legs I need. Ran 1.6, waited 45 minutes (guessing about how long it might take the other legs to run), ran 1.6 , waited 45 minutes,  ran 1.6 again. My paces per mile - 9:22, 8:55(!!!) and 9:15.

Watch out you super speedys! One of those days I might actually be close enough to eat ya'lls dust instead of getting lapped!

Worked with the trainer and my BFF (15lb weighted vest).  That vest makes me wonder how I survived carrying an additional 185lbs?  (notice I said survived.. not "lived")

anyway -   2 minute stations, 3 rounds, all with the vest

Treadmill hill climbs - 9% incline, 3.8 speed

burpees

walking lunges w/ knee lift

15lb dumb bell clear and press

Then 30 minute Spin class

Depending on how much I get caught up after 6 days off work, I may go to the fitness room for an easy TM jog

Michele,

That is freaking awesome!! I can only hope to run in the 10's on day!!!

For me: 1100 m swim and a 45 min run.  It was HOT but I felt great.  It is interesting to learn to run on tired legs. :-)

Lots of 5K's, 10K's., 4 1/2 Marathons, 3 Sprint Triathlon done. 2 Olympics and my  First IRONMAN 70.3 September 2013 and First Full Marathon Dec 2013  !!!!!
