"I gave this doctor 4 stars because he actually had the nurses with hold my pain meds until I walked, or that is what was told to me by several nurses on staff. All but 1 of the nurses that took "care" of me did not force me to get up in pain, vomiting and running a fever to walk for my meds. The nurse that came in The final day of stay came back on schedule after being off, she is the only one that ACTUAL MADE ME WALK 3 LAPS AROUND THE FLOOR, before she gave my pain meds, she with held 2 doses. All the nurse did state that the orders were given that His patients have to walk or hold meds. Boulder dash hockey pock!! Some of us are not as tolerable to pain, pain makes me more disoriented and nauseated, that I was already from the procedure. Hell yes, it hurted me!! Would I recommend him for a procedure? Absolutely, in spite of my personal experience, I am healthy, with no complications( not from the walking) from a good quality procedure, even if it was to tough a love for me! My lap scars are smalls, and were healed Monday morning, when woke up in my bed(outside) No abdominal bruising and a 6 on scale of 10 (most) for abdominal tenderness. The nausea, and vomiting, is what it is, some get it some don't. The fever, I did never over 100, and broke by the second day. I was sent home with adequate pain and nausea medicine, and was giving proper dosage before leaving to make the 4 hour drive home. So yes let, DR, DOMINGUEZ IS THE ONLY SURGEON THAT ACCEPTS LOUISIANA MEDICAID FOR THESE PROCEDURES (AT THIS TIME). The paperwork process was smooth, Cheryl is a god send to that office and to earth! Once paperwork was complete, appt scheduled, approved by medicaid plan in 3 days and scheduled for the date I choose!! "
