Finally! An Honest Coca-Cola Obesity Commercial!

When Coca-Cola recently released a commercial bragging about what their brand is doing to help in the obesity epidemic, Dr. Terry Simpson wrote, "Coca-Cola advertising for obesity is like tobacco advertising for lung cancer."  This writer couldn't agree more!

After 125 years of advertising sugary, calorie-packed beverages and greatly contributing to the obesity epidemic, many found Coca-Cola's "willingness" to step forward and play an important role in the epidemic laughable and ironic.  Especially one YouTube user who goes by the name John Pemberton.  "Pemberton" brilliantly created what he or she calls an honest version of the commercial.  The voice-over on the commercial is flawless and filled with truths that you won't hear from Coca-Cola.  Oh, and here's another kicker...the user name John Pemberton just happens to be the name of the man who invented Coca-Cola in 1886!

I'd like to know what you think of Pemberton's video versus Coca Cola's.  The first video below is the original Coca-Cola commercial and the second video is the honest version!
