Good Afternoon everyone. We are finally scheduled for our surgery. We are scheduled for RNY on Aug 26th.. Not too far away huh. I am soooooo excited, and as you all know, feel like I have so much stuff to do in the short amount of time, but I am ready to take it on!!!!. Can't wait to be on the losers bench with all you fabulous people.

Hi Heather, welcome to OH. I did my 6 month with Dr. Gomez after doing a 6 month my regular PCP and insurance not accepting it. I absolutely loved Dr. Gomez! This a great place to find support. It can be very confusing at first on where to start, but just take your time.

Dr John Huse 1-317-814-4590, he did my orginaaly RNY and also my revision. I think he is wonderful.

I need to have a revision done to my Roux-en-Y. I am starting to gain and my family doctor is wanting me to check into a revisison. I had Dr. Gupta performed it January 2007 at St. Vincents in Carmel. Of course she has left. Could someone please give me some of the names of the doctors that are there now. I just loved Dr. Gupta! I do live north of Fort Wayne, Indiana and thought about checking to see if anyone in Fort Wayne does revisions. Thanks for any help anyone can give me! I appreciate it so much!

hiya heather.. welcome to OH.. i've been on here bout a year or so.. and im having surgery this fridayyy.. cant believe it .. i had to do the 6 month supervised diet with Dr Gomez, isnt she wonderful? i just love her.cant say enough good things about her.

Wow, you are ahead of the game it sounds like. There are alot of protein samples you can get on line. Maybe you should try some more and find something that doesn't make you gag. You will want some variety. I get on a kick and make one protein drink for a month or two, then get sick of it and need to find another way to get it in.
