Hi everyone! Does anyone know if there is still a support group meeting in Fort Wayne? I think St Vincent used to run one but I don't know if they still do or not.

My insurance company went with a Center of Excellence in MERRILVILLE so I am looking at Michigan faciities. thanks!

Dr. Debra Bergman in Carmel. I would HIGHLY recommend her for any cosmetic procedure. She will work with you to discover what YOUR idea of beauty is and not impose her viewpoint on you. She will work with your insurance to help cover costs if possible. Her follow up care is fabulous and included in the price of the procedure. Her prices were very competative.

I'm not clear how this works - do we stay from 11-2 or is it a drop in? And if it's a drop in- how does the wait-to-shop for non WLS folks work? And do you just take what you like?

Ok, after reading these post I see it is not me when it comes to this office. I have called every week for 10 weeks. No call back. At this point I am looking for an alternative. I want to do it at St. Vs in Carmel since it is 5 blocks from my house. Anyone know a Dr. They could recommend that is NOT associated with Meridian?

Also looking for some guidance on cost. I am interested in RNY but are hearing numbers between 12-28 thousand. Happy to pay 14 thousand, looking for the right dr. Out of st v. Who can do it. Thx in advance. I am a self pay.

Congrats on your approval! I had my WLS at Carmel St. V's 5 years ago. They take excellent care of you - terrific hospital, nurses, doctors. I was very nervous prior to my surgery, but looking back, there was no need to be. You will have all of the education, support, and medical care necessary to make this giant step with ease. I went back to work only 2 weeks after surgery. Positive thoughts and quick healing to you!

My doctor in Indianapolis has a list for me of those who do. I have HIP which covered my surgery and he says will also cover the skin removal. I will send you a list when I get it. You might see if your surgeon can recommend anyone.
