Injured!
VSG on 01/25/12
I am completely bummed out! Just sort of venting I guess! This past weekend I spent a lot of time on my mom's large trampoline and hurt what I thought was my ankle. Turns out I put a nice little tear in my achilles tendon...and now I am exercise restricted until it heels.
What a bummer! I feel so derailed! Grrr!!

Oh my gosh you are so lucky you just have to restrict excercise. I tore my Achilles Tendon on March 23 2011. I finally got my cast off for good on August 20th of that same year. It was one of the most painful, infuriating things ever. I am so glad that you will be able to keep going soonish. It is definitely very painful. : (

I'm really sorry to hear this - what a downer, especially at this time! I know for me, it's going to be difficult to establish a habit of becoming active and doing active things for fun (although I look forward to it, too, in a way), and to have something like that happen must really put a roadblock in the way.
I hope it heals soon! Good luck.
Is it possible to do some sort of exercise that doesn't put pressure on your foot, like maybe swimming?

So sorry to hear that you're hurt. I didn't understand how serious it was when you first told me. I'll get the spiritual team on the job for you, lol. Wishing you quick healing. It definitely sounds like its time to spend lots of time floating in a swimming pool with the kids. Who knew a trampoline could cause this kind of injury?!
