I'm a work in progress!!!! I keep working on developing healthy eating habits, after becoming a little lax. I want to enjoy my life and do things that I couldn't do years ago.

I want to volunteer in 2022. I haven't done so in many years.

If you haven't read it yet, The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg is very interesting on how you can use habits to make significant changes. I've used it personally but also at work by identifying some of our "business habits".

I have a lot of major health issues right now. My goal is to follow the diet given by my doctor and do everything I need to in order to get healthy again.

ObesityHelp keeps me motivated. Reading the experiences, menus, and tips from other members reminds me that I'm not alone on this journey; and there is a place to reach out to give and receive help and encouragement.

My top goal for 2022 is to become a WLS post op. After that I want to get more exercise in even if its just walking. Oh, and to do better taking vitamins before and after surgery.

I Have decided to call 2022

my year of health. AKA Rebel Wilson. I've had some regain i want to lose but, more important, i just need to be healthier overall. So I'm working on "habit stacking".

my long term covid seems to have settled into what will be my new normal so I need to do my best and get as healthy/strong as I can.

going to try an elimination diet and see if I have also gotten food sensitivities. Bought an elliptical and going to start using that....

I hope to take some empty fat cells off and do some much needed body contouring that was very much delayed due to Covid .

I feel like I DESERVE to finally live my best life.

Regarding other issues Im taking control of my environment and organizing and beautifying so I can work more efficiently and enjoy my off hours more .

Im also concentrating more on achieving my financial and career goals and making art .

Im determined to gently exercise more and in a more varied way - to try Pilates and different types of yoga and even Zumba !

Switching it up makes exercise a daily pleasure rather than a chore I find - but getting out there first thing always has to remain a top priority for me .
I never forget where I came from pre-op and am always grateful ( and I show that by eating clean and exercising even when I don't necessarily want to )
