Topic: Has Anyone Tried the Turmeric Cure for Diabetic Neuropathy ?

Tom Hanks appearently is a huge fan ..and other celebrities give free testimonials too...

I know a very smart and knowledeable male operating room nurse of Barbadian origins who also swears by turmeric ( delicious when added to stews ) garlic, ginger, ginseng n tea ... and well he got his unvaccinated self and his unvaxed family through working exhausting overtime hours in the high danger ward during Covid and his autistic child was ( and is ) attending regular school every day since it was allowed - no infection ever nor flu nor colds ... hmm

Have U ever tried this ? What were Ur results ? thank you ! Eva

Topic: RE: My Secret Wish

Since being back in Manhattan ( well, greater NYC ) Ive been slowly connecting with my actor/bartender/ chef friends ... who are a hard- partying crowd .

I was kind of afraid Id get caught up in that but no ... I guess all these years later my priorities are in a different place .

Gardening ( especially w sweet lil companions , the furry or the children kind ) , sailing , a clean safe home , creative well paid career and finally the world travel Ive always dreamed of are my NOW priorities .

Frankly the New York Times INFURIATES me .

I STILL cant read the article because their persistent popups demanding money for a " free trial " etc keep blocking it .

I hope they realize their choices are on the fast road to bancruptcy .

Too bad so sad for a worthy publication.

Topic: My Secret Wish

For many years I've been harboring a secret ... the wish to have biological children of my own despite being overaged.

I've had to struggle very hard to rise up economically from literally nothing ... and I missed out on a lot of chances to date n mate especially my intellectual and economic peers . Feeling grossly overweight and unattractive didn't help.

Now Im out of " age range" .

Yeah 29 year olds want to date m but I'm a generation older and cant forget their Mum's struggles with these lazy entitled often ( seriously ) murderous tv game playing basement-dwellers .

I preserved my eggs but need 2 use them soon.

Cant talk about this secret yearning for a baby or even two with ANYONE ... my family would LITERALLY consider me crazy .

I DID take in and foster two illegally dumped over the border tiny babies a few years ago . They were SO beautiful , cuddly, eager to learn and play ... and after a few years their parents came and they were united . My heart broke .

Am I crazy to think that at my age ... with loose skin, bad habits , set in my ways I can mebbe find a mate and have a family ?

Can anyone relate ? Im surely not the only person here who put off " normal " life milestones because they felt unattractive ....unloved ...financially not ready ... isolated

Kris ? Kardashian ( the Momager) 's recent facelift results seem amazing - and her surgeon uses ( but very well) the mostly skin lift older technique .

But then again that whole clan never puts out an unretouched photo ... so who knows how she REALLY looks now ?

Id love to see some candids from a red carpet somewhere that she can't control ... Im noticing that other than that ONE photo we havent seen anything with her in it in WEEKS !

If she really DOES look younger I wonder if she'll get rid of the financial user ( and quite unattractive ) present boyfriend lol.

I've wondered about facelifts, and if there are different kinds/procedures. Seems like so many (at least in days gone by) result in "Dolphin Face", as I call it. They look like they have a permanent grin, akin to the way a dolphin does. I'm thinking what happens is the surgeon pulls the loose skin a bit TOO tightly up and to the back, maybe? One of the most notable celeb examples is William Shatner (the Star Trek actor). His looked horrible for a long time after he had one performed on him, akin to "The Joker" of Batman fame. I'm thinking though he must have had some kind of corrective plastic surgery done later on, as the last few years his face looks much more normal.

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

HW/461 LW/251 GW/189 CW/274 (yep, a DS semi-failure - it happens :-( )

And U don't have " Ozempic face " at all either !

I read a super interesting article ( sorry I suck at posting links unlike Batwingsman - perhaps Ud be kind enuf to message me a step by step tutorial B )( please assume I'm a five year old who has NO CLUE what theyre doing lol ) regarding types of facelifts actually being performed now.

By far the most effective for us massive weight losers ( I lost and keep off 80 lbs myself for 14 years now) sounds like the deep tissue lift which tightens all the underlying facial muscles as well as the skin .

This apparently is very difficult to actually GET according to this popular media article because only a handful of surgeons know how to do it.

Yet so many plastic surgeons CLAIM ( and charge megabux for) this type of surgery when theyre only tightening a muscle or two and otherwise just traditionally pulling the skin ( which alone after two or three facelifts over the years -yes facelifts age out just like boob jobs and liposuction lol)

Because I'm an actor I got my first "facial rejuvenation " a few years ago from an excellent Mexican surgeon many know well on here.

It was supposed to involve face and neck skin tightening also and after a fairly long recovery time the results were OUTSTANDING !

In recent years when I got depressed during and post Covid, my Dad's illness and my struggles w alcohol abuse ... I often let my vitamins, exercise and even eating healthy food go .

I saw my face take a nosedive - puffy wrinkly especially around the mouth area...anyone care to share their experience ?

I find the strongest Retin A both cream and gel and prescription Latisse all help tremendously - when I ( rarely) apply them - I simply hate facial creams and remedies that require nightly application when I'm drowsy lol!

The latisse applied on eyebrows and lashes visibly thickens and lengthens them ( and itches ! ) but thick natural lashes and brows definitely youngify.

I also have ZERO patience w makeup - sunscreen Im meticulous about otherwise makeup free unless working or auditioning )

I can't help thinking he was more attractive before ... of course good health matters most and I'm a sucker for slightly plump guys ... but he was a cutie wasn't he ?

YES !!! a resounding yes - and the help is ridiculously cheap and great- smelling !

Beautiful soaps creams n gels U would have chosen 2 use anyway but these work exeprionally well to tighten up loose skin, banish wrinkles ... a facelift in a jar essentially .

Before U scoff ( like I did ) rich wimmen pay THOUSANDS of dollars for facial creams ... and they were smart enuf to marry a rich hubby ( unlike me ) ... so Im willing 2 learn!

Anything containing Salycilic acid 2% like Neutrogena's $7.00 Grapefruit scented gentle body scrub significantly helps tighten loose skin cure wrinkles and rejuvenate the face , neck and decolletage ( I hate a wrinkly bosom with a " young" face dont you ? ) and even helps with skin tags , sun spots and so forth ( of course wearing and reapplying sunscreen everywhere the sun reaches - arms , hands back of neck as well as face is essential too ).

Getting out in the sun body - wise also helps a LOT .

Body parts we're ashamed to expose never shrink and get better ... I just let it all hang loose tummy skin underarm bra overhang and all ... funny guys still seem to find me attractive ... and if they dont - well who needs a critical entitled a- hole anyway ?

Hope this helps . Rolling off the loose skin after soaking in a soothing jacuzzi - bath really helps tighten things up too . (((())))
