Saturday Workouts

Whew! I had planned to do a shortened workout today because I have so much to do, but once I got there and got going, I figured I might as well go ahead and do a good one. Did 20 minutes of intervals on the bike, then 25 minutes in the weight room. I'm feelin' it! Hope y'all are havin' a great Saturday!

Another humid morning run.  8.35 miles.  Tired but at least doing it early let's me enjoy the rest of the day.

went for a 4.25 mile walk this morning, then did another 1.5 later on.    First day with my Garmin Forerunner 205.  Lots of things to learn!!

25 mile bike ride with 4 other girlfriends during the Moonfest festival. Gorgeous day for the ride.

I did my first 50-mile ride today.  It was a beautiful out and back through the Adirondack Mountains, so it was a very hilly course.   About half the climbs were a 15% grade.  There were a couple of monsters with grades of 46-52%.  I have a double crankset, so I was wishing for a granny gear on more than one occasion.  The views and the awesome descents were worth every climb.
