Running for 19 hours straight is an amazing accomplishment.  I'm sure it was mentally grueling as much as it was physically.   Rest up for your next adventure.

 That pretty much says it all. Dan you are on a whole new level of inspiring. I am in complete awe of what you have done. In the Navy when someone has done a great job they are told Bravo Zulu as a pat on the back. So, BRAVO ZULU!!!!!

You find that you have peace of mind and can enjoy yourself, get more sleep, and rest when you know that it was 100% effort that you gave --win or lose.

Can't even imagine!  You inspired my group yesterday that was all afraid of our first trail run (some people's first race/run of any kind).

I guess next year you have to make up those 27 miles.
You know run a marathon to the start of the race like Dean does.
