I'm an Apple guy.
I have added to an iTunes library over the years and have done so with iBooks and their movies, too.
Everything is nice and easy to que up from a number of Apple devices in the house......be it laptop or desktop computing, home theater or streaming music to the kitchen den, bedrooms and deck.
Uber simple.
That being said......an average smartphone with some ear buds is all you need to get rolling with. Tons of free apps such as i heart Radio can be downloaded and you are up and grooving on the types of tunes you like for free.
Live, love and make the most out of what your surgeon has done for you...........live your life without excuses and without regrets.

Spanx is now making workout stuff that holds the muffin top in. Just got an email from them about it the other day -- check the web site. For me, I have the arm flappies which there is no cure for - yet. Not til I get to goal and see the plastics guy.
So maybe it's because you WANT to run? I know before I didn't want to be active. I idea of running wasn't remotely on my list. Of course the weight loss helps.
The mental game that's needed for WLS is high interest and desire for loss, I think a similarly having a high desire to do activity helps a lot.

The cake is a lie, but Starbucks is not.
I love the hobbit legs comment. I'm 5'2" as well. I think my boss is about 6'2". Sometimes we have to walk across campus together for meetings. I used to REALLY struggle to keep up and was completely out of breath. Now I often lead the pace and can comfortably carry on a conversation as we walk. DH and I walk a 3 mile loop together when we can fit it in our schedule. He's only a little taller than me but has always walked very fast. I used to always have to tell him to slow down, now it's sometimes the other way around. Keep up the great work!
Surgery Date June 3, 2016
HW: 329 W at first consult 290. SW 238, LW 128, CW 139
I didn't exercise after my surgery (but I had 3 children under 3 yo so that's prob why lol) and I lost all of my weight. But as it crept back on from no activity, I started running! I too did the C25K and HATED it at first. I hated to run! but I did it anyway (the first week was awful, I can remember). I ended up getting to where I'd run a 3K almost every day. Then I joined a spin class at my local gym. I loved every bit of it. Needed a change and now for 2 years, I do Crossfit and LOVE it. And I still run :) It's definitely do able! Keep it up!
I use my iPhone (and before that, a used iPod) with music from iTunes. If I'm not wearing a coat with pockets that I can stuff my phone into, I use this Slim Fit Sports Belt. That also holds id and a house key, which is nice.
I found that regular earbuds constantly had one ear not working or cutting in and out -- I went through maybe 4 pairs before I got fed up and switched to a bluetooth headset. Mpow Sweatproof Sport Headphones
