There is a Ramen broth I picked up at Superstore (Loblaws) that is delish! Has lots of flavour and is a broth so I think 15 calories per cup - it was a lifesaver when on my pre-surgery fast!
Put a little salt, pepper and garlic in the broth. Not too much salt though...

Referred January 7/17, Orientation Humber May 28/17, Meet Dr. August 4/17, TRIO November 3/17, Internist November 21/17, Surgeon again December 21/17, Pre-op assessment January 4/18 and Surgery January 12/18.
Ok so maybe a dumb question.
What do you use for chicken broth?
I have the rectangular containers of Campbell's liquid chicken broth but it's pretty bland.
today I had to use an alternative and used the powders out of a liptons chicken noodle soup, minus the noodles. It was salty but I liked it better. However I think maybe it's not ok to use it.
any opinions!

First Off congratulations on your weight loss, be proud ,you worked hard for it. I felt so sad seeing your topic.... "Feeling Defeated" it brought back a lot of my own memories concerning plastics after massive weight loss. Like you my family doctor told me that Ohip didn't cover anything, .....not true! Boy was I very happy to set her straight after I had a panniculectomy, with muscle repair(hernia) and a new belly button, breast reduction/lift all covered by Ohip, I paid $3500 for the lipo. That was 5 years ago and I know for a fact that the surgeon I went with still does a lot of Ohip funded surgeries. I used Dr.M.Elahi www.elahiplasticsurgery.com and if you get a referral, its no charge for your consultation. He is excellent at getting Ohip approval for as much as possible and if you do end up going with him you won't be disappointed. As someone else above suggested, join the fb Ontario, Canada plastic surgery boards, its private and has a wealth of information on Dr.'s and even has a album section of different Dr.'s before and afters put there by the patients themselves, I got brave and added few of my own.

Great post, Dawn! I am Exactly up 27 lbs from my lowest as well. Currently 188. I will have to do the Protein first! Real food NOT processed.
