Our other lil darlings at home
One other thing I suggest to people with dogs, is that when you bring the baby home, don't make a big deal over the baby, but make a REALLY big deal over the dog. Put the baby down in the carrier when you walk in and fuss over the dog, then introduce the two in a very low key manner. It worked with our very possessive Jack, and I didn't think anything would.
Thanks everyone, this gave me some great ideas. I am def going to be trying some of them...if not all...Good news is some parts of our house are already off limits...and she knows it. The nursery and all of upstairs is included in the do not enter zone. Good news we already have baby gates, she has thankfully never tried knocking them over, etc (even when not really latched, etc.
You can see with this face, no is a hard word to come out of my mouth...
