Update on Sage and Similac

Went to the Dr. today.  Sage has a gastro infection from the contaminated formula.  My poor baby.  No wonder she has been spitting up SO much with diarrhea for the passed 2 weeks.  We had all but 3 bad cans and she had drank almost all of the bad ones.  We have switched to enfamil and she is almost completely better.  I am so upset about this.  I cannot believe this I feel so guilty.

I hope she feels better soon. Don't beat yourself up, no one assumes their formula is bad.

There is no guilt on your part. It's the companies fault. I would be in contact with them SO fast. These babies are the innocent victims! And they need to be held responsible!

Poor girl! It's not your fault though, you didn't know. I'm lucky that none of the cans I have were recalled, I did take a can and switch to Enfamil before I was able to check online just to be safe though. So far it seems like it doesn't fill her up quite as much, how is Sage doing with Enfamil?

I had to switch Robert to Enfamil when we got WIC, and I too noticed that he didn't fill up with the same amount of formula, compaired to Similac. Plus it gave him gas, which he didn't have with the Similac. We ended up having to switch to Enfamil Gentalese.

Poor baby! I am so glad that she is feeling better now though! I would have your doctor write a letter and then contact the company, they should at least pay for your doctor visit!
