I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for their support and encouragement in dealing with my issue.  It is truly comforting to have a 'safe' place to talk things out.

Even though we don't know each other personally, I truly consider you guys friends!

Thanks again.....

I don't know what to tell you about your family, but I will say that after the amount of times your baby has been to the ER, the last thing you should be doing is taking her ANYWHERE public or with a lot of people for Halloween.

I would make it out to see my family. There is enough baby to go around. If you want her to go trick or treating with him first, dress her up with your boyfriend and then do the family thing a day or two later. I don't think you should always have to exclude him from the family. I would have a heart to heart with your mom though. As much as I don't always get along with my family I have learned not to hold grudges after my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer this year. Family and friends are priceless. It sounds like you have a good family, they are just protective of you and that's what families do.
