Ok girls, so this is my SECOND baby. My uterus is measuring a week ahead, and I have an ear infection. This all started LAST THURSDAY.

PCP prescribed Omnicef, I took a pill and was fine. That night I took my 2nd dose and around 3 hours after swallowing I threw up the pink and green capsule and the disgusting tasting pill in liquid form. Now I thought it was just a one time thing. Well the next night the SAME thing happened.

I stopped taking the pill, because I thought it was just the kind I was on. Well.. I was prescribed Ceflex yesterday, and I picked up my prescription last night. Can you guess what I just did????? YEP threw up the pill! this time, a whopping 5 hours after taking the retarted thing!

I'm going to call my doctor and ask for an antibiodic in liquid form. I have no idea what's going on with my stomach, but all of a sudden, it is completley UNABLE to digest antibiodics. I say this because I have no problems with my Wellbutrin, or my prenatal vitamins. I'm assuming this has to do with my uterus pushing up on my sleeve, as I also have recently developed HORRRRRIBLE indigestion!   Does ANYONE out there have any advice??? or had the same thing happen to them??? OH and I'm 3 years and 4 months out of VSG. Thanks!!

well, you might want to ask him how he feels about an IV antibiotic just to get it initially in your system. If he doesnt want you to do that then ask him to prescribe you an anitemetic (anti~yack pill), like phtergan or compazine. As for indigetsion ask him about getting you Nexium too. Apparently there is something that your stomache cant handle anymore and dont want you to get ulcers or anything.
Like I say, this is me and this is what I would do if it were...good luck!
Might want to try Maalox to help with indigestion since it does have a "numbing" effect. YES it is safe for pregnancy!!!

If all fails, try antibiotic ear drops. They are usually prescibed for swimmers ear and ruptured eardrums, so they are pretty strong as well.
