Protein Drinks Question

I haven't drank any protein drinks during pregnancy because of the artifical sweetner in it, but was wondering if it's safe to drink if you're nursing?  Wasn't sure if it would have the same effect on the baby as it does in the womb?  Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I would say yes..I ahve been not eating again..at all and my doctor told me to start either my shakes or some ensure, adn I am trying to breastfeed.

good post...I am not TTC yet, but was wondering the other day if you ladies were drinking shakes during or after pregnancy?

I hope to see some replys as to why or why not to drink them during pregnancy.

I am taking it, but I think the Whey Protein is causing him major gas! I am going to stop to see if that is what is causing it. He seems really uncomfortable and I just started them back up recently!

I was drinking the Syntrax protein drinks before pregnancy..I really hope I can drink these while nursing since they help me get a good bit of my protein in a day....Lianne, let me know if stopping the drinks makes him more comfy..how's your weight loss coming along?

Thx so much.  Yeah... I called the Fertility clinic yesterday to make our 1st appt.  I'll be ovulating while on our honeymoon (we're not AI'ing this cycle.) But we wanna get in w/the Fert dr so that we can get things going next month.
