Thanks! Yes, I have done several rounds of clomid (100mg) and 1 fremara round. I have done 3 rounds with trigger shots (250mg ovridrel) and have never once had a bfp ;-( I respond faster with clomid but the the dryness I get from it is HORRIBLE. Fermara isn't as bad but I respond slower :-/ I have used Preseed as well to try to counteract the side effects. I think next round we are gonna do Clomid and estrogen then the trigger shot and progesterone. I have taken progesterone many times before as well. Hopefully that will be the magic combination! :-) I will send your info over to BOTH groups :-)

I am sorry! My AMH is low (0.9) and my FSH is boarder line high, and I am 25yo. They too said IVF is my BEST option but we could never afford it ;(. We will hopefully be doing our first IUI next cycle. Yes, I was the one who mentioned the FB group. Send my your FB info again and I will get the admin to add you. Now I am apart of 2 groups :-) I only thought there was one. I know what you mean, I have too fallen wayyyy off my path, I have gained about 15lbs ;-( its terrible!!!! I need to get motivated again! Good luck and keep us posted!!!!!

That's so very awesome and exciting!! Time does fly for sure. My paternal grandfather won a Nobel prize in medicine back in the 70's for his by "accident" invention and discovery of the heart cathetization. The Cleveland clinic named its cardiology department after him and there are statues and paintings of him all over the hospital. Maybe my grandfathers invention somehow made the outcome of your daughters surgeries successful. Anyways I'm so happy for you!!

Well they didn't say it's my ONLY option...just my best option.  My AMH levels are low and my FSH levels are high...basically I have low and poor quality ovarian reserve.  Even with IVF my changes are lower than other ladies in my age range.  But I'm going to keep being positive and stay prayed up! Where are the rest of the TTC ladies?  I know there are more of us out there!

Melanie were you the one that mentioned the Facebook support group? If so I never received my invite...not sure what happened.  I checked all my mailboxes.

Anywho!  I'm on CD 3 and starting taking evening primrose oil.  I'm not planning on doing IUI this month or maybe even next.  Got to get my mind right and get back on track with my eating healthy and exercising.  I have been an outright pig since hearing the RE's recommendations.  My goal is to start back with my exercise on Sept 1st.

I'm very curious and hopeful you get some responses to this post. I'm 41 and have 3 boys, 15, 11 and 10 and always wanted a fourth. But being so heavy I just couldn't imagine it. I'm only 3 weeks post op so even if I want to try I have to wait! I will say that my sister had RNY 7 years ago and she has been a surrogate twice since her surgery, at 39 and 42 years.

Thanks for the tread!

Ashley
