Congrats on the pregnancy!! I'm 27 weeks pregnant and got pregnant 7 months after rny. So far everything is great with me too. My hubby & I tried for 13 years to get pregnant with fertility help with no luck. We ended up adopting a newborn in Feb. and I found out I was pregnant 7 weeks later lol. I'm doubly blessed!!
It's amazing how weight loss has made a difference!
Keep us posted on your progress!!
Thanks for sharing your experience...it does help ease some anxiety! My BP is usually really good...I had to race to my appt from downstairs where I get my allergy shots...so am sure that was part of it...and I was nervous to see someone new! My urine came back ok...there was something that was slightly elevated but not out of normal...but from reading online there are a few reasons why that can be and I do have an autoimmune disease...which was one of them! I asked the nurse today on the phone about it and she said it won't necessarily mean an induction...depends on tomorrow's tests! Have an ultrasound (for me...I think...not baby) and another NST! Then I will talk with the dr after! Hoping for the best!
thanks again for the reply!

Thanks for the reply...I know that if I have to be induced, I just have to be! I don't like it...but if its best for baby...I will just have to do it! (Doesn't mean I like it though! Lol!). Got a call from the dr.s nurse...doing an ultrasound (I think for me...not baby) and an NST after...then I will meet with the Dr again after all of that! I asked the nurse about my results and being induced and she said it won't necessarily mean I will need to be...so holding out hope! Thanks for sharing you experience!

Well I had BP problems with my #2 in the third trimester around 34wks (if memory serves me right). Spilled a little protein in the urine once so did 24hr and was fine. Dr explained that kidneys flub up occasionally and do that which is why it's more accurate to due the 24hr. So basically had to do weekly non-stress test (due to the fact elevated BP can cause calcification of the umbilical cord decreasing blood flow to baby) and they monitored the BP. Water broke at 37wks and ended up with c-section but not due to BP related complications. Hope this helps ease your mind a little. Good Luck!

Hi Everyone, I am having my c section tomorrow.I have to be at the hospital at 10 am. This is my first child and my first c section. This will be my 3rd surgery with in a year and a half. last one was in oct. Does anyone have ay advise or tricks to getting better quicker or moving around better or anything of that nature or things not to do please let me know. Thank you guys for all of your help you guys have been very helpful to me and I really appreciate it. You guys rock! Thank you again.
i was told by my doctor to wait until after i have my kids because of the stretching of the muscles which is already painful when you don't have a tt .. good luck with what ever you decide, unless you plan on waiting years i would not do it until after the kid insurance will still pay for it after the kid.
Hi All!
I am getting a TT in October. I was advised by my baby doctor NOT to do this. She said in her experience that when someone gets pregnant after this procedure that its super painful. She said this lady she had was in pain ALL THE TIME. I find this hard to believe. Did you get a tummy tuck before pregnancy? What was your experience? My insurance is covering this and I just don't want to pass up this opportunity.
