Don't worry, even if the baby is stilI small some of the weight gain has to do with extra body fluids, blood, & a growing uterus. Just eat like you know you are supposed to and your body's going to do what it wants to anyways. Good luck

I had lost 10 lbs my 1st trimester and 3 the second im into my 3rd and in the past 2 weeks ive put on 3lbs so dont worry so much about eating all those calories focus on how healthy the food is ur eating and also make sure ur taking ur prenatal faithfully. You should be fine if you do that but none of us can really say cause we don't know ur exact medical history. Goodluck sweetie.

Hi,

I'm really glad you posted this video. I'm about 22 months post vsg and about 150 lbs down. I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I've gained about 5 lbs in the last couple of months and my brain tells me I shouldn't be gaining weight yet. The baby's maybe half an inch long. Maybe some of it's water weight. I don't know. I feel bloated and some of my pants are too tight. And then today, a coworker said my ass was getting bigger. He's a friend who knows I'm pregnant and I know he was just joking around with me but I know it's true and I just cried off and on the rest of the day. So basically I'm gaining weight and my emotions are crazier than usual. Not sure how I'm gonna handle this for the next 7 months

Do not ask God to guide your footsteps if you're not willing to move your feet.

Hi there, sounds like you are struggling as I was :( I am in the "Overweight" category now, which I guess is a good thing and I am okay with that. My A1C is now 6.0 so almost there in the 5.0's :) my FSH level was within normal range to do IVF, well that is what they told me, so we will see. I have one more test to go Saline Infused Sonnogram SIS, once I am cleared from that test my retrieval date will be mid September so we are super excited and praying this last test results give us the all clear!

My Insurance does not pay for IVF either, I do know of some clinics on the East Coast that have offered cycles from $5000/$6000 so maybe research different areas?

Baby dust to you as well :)

HI MissSassySlim-

Just reading your post....I'm 38 will be 39 next month....my re suggested that I move fwd with IVF....sigh....quite a blow esp cause my insurance doesn't cover it and we don't have 10,000 for the procedure.  I'm a type 2 diabetic my last AIC was 6.8...trying to get i under 6 like you.  I lost about 130 with Gastric Bypass but I'm still considered obese.  I had one failed IUI using Colmid and a trigger shot.  As I was starting my next cycle my blood work was tested and my FSH level came back very high...which is why my re suggested no more IUI's to move fwd with IVF.  Do you know what your FSH level is? Baby dust to you!

Thank you for the suggestions! I will defiantly be trying them! I am less sore, but I still feel a lot of pressure on the actual site if the incision, so hoping that the tight clothing will work

I am stressing myself out about this...there isn't anything I can do at this point....but my anxiety is over the roof!  I may have to talk to my OB about this...although I think I will feel better after my Appt this week....and she will check me so I know where I stand!

Good to know the 5 year gap isn't too bad!  I an a bit nervous to be by myself with 2 little ones...but it is for the best and I encouraged my DH to do this!  He will do great!!

Thanks for the reply!  :)

I knew that your little girl held on longer than your son!  Lol...but wow she was a fast labor for you!  Hoping this one wont be long....but not that quick...especially since my family is a ways away and need to travel to get here...otherwise my son may get the true birth experience!  Haha!  :)
