I forgot to mention that I do NOT add the 2 packets of Stevia - for me it makes it way too sweet.  Also, I only use about 1Tbsp of heavy cream.  Yes, it could be avoided, but for me it gives that richness and creaminess that makes me feel like I'm cheating the system. LOL!

If your doctor is advising you to use condoms, I'd assume it is because you could get pregnant.  Condoms suck, but I'd go with what the doc suggests.  If you're really against condoms, there are always other barrier methods such as a diaphragm.  Either way, I'd ask the doc.

Topic: Starbucks Carmel Frap - at home - to DIE for!!

When I came across this recipe on OH I was suspicious.  I have NEVER been able to make a protein drink that I can actually enjoy (I've tolerated a lot...but never enjoyed any****il TODAY!  I wanted to share with my fellow preggos in case you were struggling too.  This actually tastes like a Starbucks Carmel Frap...no joke.  And it has 31gms protein (although could be bumped up to 40gms if you use milk instead of the heavy whipping cream - haven't tried that one though).  I use caffeinated coffee since I've been battling headaches (and my doc says caffeine helps), but with decaf it would be just as yummy.  Try it and tell me what you think!  I would HIGHLY recommend using STARBUCKS SF Carmel syrup as opposed to other brands, but I'm sure it could be made with Torani or DiVinci or whatever syrup you love.  I am craving these drinks now...seriously...I promise you it is THAT good.

Hi everyone,

I have a question but I'll give you a little of my back story first.

I'm 26, have never had normal periods. Last year I found out that I had hyperplasia. This is what led to me being put on prometrium (200mg vaginally). I had my Rny in April of this year.
Because I take the prometrium daily, I don't have a period. Sometimes I have a little light discharge but no actual period.
My last two biopsies have come back clean.

My Dr had advised to use Condoms (as most bc is hormonal and she doesn't want to use that because of my hyoerplasia).
Is there any chance that I could get pregnant now? I want to wait until at least a year after surgery, so don't worry about that.. I'm just curious to see if the prometrium would stop my chances of getting pregnant all together?

I used to get horrible migraines.. they put me on all different types of meds.. none that worked without all the side effects... now i take magnesium every night and rarely get a headache any more.  You might want to give that a try and see if it helps.
