Before I got preg I didn't even get hungry but now after having my baby ( he is 3 months old ) I stay hungry and I can eat more and I feel awful. I don't know what to do. I don't want to gain weight cause I worked so hard on losing 150 pounds. I gained 46 during pregnancy and lost all but 11 pounds. I just don't want to gain my weight back because of so many health problems. What do you all suggest? Has my pouch stretched?
Thanks ladies. I'm in my second trimester and have had zero headaches in 3 previous pregnancies, so I'm baffled. My BP has been good since WLS, but not low. I'm perplexed as to why it would drop in pregnancy as opposed to go up?
My pre-weight loss surgery pregnancy I was in bed, under the covers, curtains drawn all the time with horrible headaches. It was debilitating & miserable, lessened once I got out of my 1st tri. Headaches are very common in pregnancy, so probably not WLS related, just our bodies adjusting to the rising hormones.

I'm not a doctor, but I'd say it is unlikely that the headaches are related to your surgery. Lots of pregnant women have headaches, but it sounds like yours are pretty bad. My only advice for those is to make sure you're really well hydrated. I had to drink a 20oz gatorade every night (on top of drinking water all day) with my last pregnancy just to keep from getting headaches, and to keep my braxton hicks tolerable. As for the low blood pressure, also normal, and probably a result of losing the weight. I have really low blood pressure when I'm pregnant and had to be really careful when standing etc. Good luck, hope you find some relief!
I've had a couple of previous pregnancies and never had headaches, nor did I have low BP (actually had preeclampsia with the others). This is my first post-WLS pregnancy though. Anyone else have these problems, if so what can be done to help relieve the headaches. I'm on my second RX med for them and no relief. They said the next step is seeing a neurologist. Could this be WLS related??
Hi, I just found out I'm pregnant too. Maybe we can chat back and fourth about our new journey. Congrats Jenn
