while i have not had IVF (i had IUI), i wish you all the success and the results of a healthy pregnancy
Hi, I am possibly going to be going through the IVF process in October (Currently doing work ups) I am almost 40 years old, 18 months post op VSG. Highest weight 275lbs current weight fluctuates 185-190lbs, Diabetic type 2, last A1C 6.6 (trying to get under 6) I am continuously working on bringing my weight down and my glucose levels.
I do not personally know anyone who has gone or is going through IVF post WLS, I am nervous about my age, weight (Overweight category now not Obese) and my diabetes, I am super high risk. Although docs tell me with my weight loss and my improvement of my A1C I have a better chance at conceiving and carrying to full term, I guess I am just a little anxious.
I would love to hear from others who have gone through IVF, good or bad.....I feel like I need support from ladies who are going through similar or the same journey as I will be.
Thank you
Liane thank you so much that was reassuring to hear!! After doing a bit of research I'm thinking maybe they did that because my progesterone level as at 12.90 as of Thursday....I would of thought they would of called if something was too low and considering on my lab results that says its within the normal range...who knows!!!

Okay so I just logged onto my gyno website and signed into my name and under problems it now says "threatened abortion" why in the world would she add this and not tell me and why in the world would that be there when I haven't bled spotted nothing the only thing is that we couldn't see anything on the ultrasound! My hcg levels went from 53 last Friday 31st to 748 on Thursday so in one week they have rose that much I w.dnt think there is a problem! Has anyone's dr ever put that on their record?!???
