So yesterday was My Thomas' day off and we were spending the whole day together. We decided to get our hair cut and blow off the low rent kind of places we usually go. I got us appointments at a toney Aveda spa.

With the fine thin hair I have and the little bit of hair loss I have had so far, I was looking for a new style to help it look fuller. Also, I am a very practical sort so I don't have any natural skills at product, styling etc. I wanted something I could keep on my own.

Long story short, I went in and they showed me a couple of styles that would fit that criteria. They also asked me if they could do before and after pics for use on their website as they were trying to increasse their male clientele. I'll let you guys know when its up. The new avatar is an iPad pic in the car afterward.

Of course, I don't know if thats an indictment of how I looked going in or how much better I look now, LOL.

I always joke that I was taking such little care of myself before my surgery that I look like I was a pair of greasy coveralls from staring in the remake of Deliverance. I guess those days are officially over now, LOL.

Hope everyone else is having an AWESOME memorial day weekend. And to those I owe responses, I was away most of the day yesterday - so firgive me for being slow.
