Decided on my "reward" for if/when I reach goal

Today I decided on what I am going to reward myself with if/when I reach goal.

Now - my husband has always found me to be sexy. He's been a great supporter of me long before this process, and has continued to be through it. We once went to a bridal fair and one of the presenters had a booth for the boudoir photography. My husband joked that I could do that for him one day. This was well before surgery - and I immediately said "No way - there is absolutely no way I am every going to be comfortable doing that. I hate normal pictures. And there is nothing sexy about me." He of course disagreed, but never mentioned the pictures after that.

Today I was flipping through facebook while sitting here recovering from my stomach ills. One of the pages I landed on was a tattoo pin-up girl type photographer. My husband just kinda giggled - said that's what sexy really is - not a porn mag, but pictures like that. And the idea hit my head like a ton of bricks.

So I am going to do it. When I reach goal, I am going to find someone to do the pics. (here in Cali, a google search led me to at least 25 photogs). I would like to wait until I can afford plastics, to make myself feel even better. But something tells me that my husband would appreciate the pictures now, let alone when I get to goal or after plastics. lol.

I guess this is a reward for both of us. I will come out of my shell, get over my fear of pictures, and give my husband something he will enjoy.

I am totally going to do this!

That is a great idea!

I might do the same - at least get some professional photos done - and I love the pin-up retro kind of style.

Hey Angi,
Alison & I attended a festival at the Queen Mary last month that had booths & booths of all that vintage pin-up girl photography stuff. I never thought I would ever have the nerve to do something like that but heck, I want to!!!! Maybe someday soon if I can ever get myself to goal, I will do those pics too ... & not for anyone but for myself & I'll frame that sh** in my TV room!!!
Because we are all gonna be sexy skinny b****es really soon!!!!

Great idea!! It will be "WHEN" not if. You are getting close to goal.

There have been some other people that have had boudoir pics done and they were very sexy and natural. Not porn-like at all.

Good way to keep the motivation going.
