What was your 6 month weight loss?

I have seen sooooo many different statistics about how much weight you can expect to lose (if you follow the plan).  How much weight did you lose at 6 months post op from the DAY OF YOUR SURGERY?  And what % of body weight was that for you?

THANKS!!

I'm a couple weeks shy of 6 months, but I've lost about 92lbs.  Starting weight was 256 on day of surgery, so I'm at 164.  I'm very large framed (big boned) so I don't plan on losing more than 10 more lbs.  I hope that helps.

I lost 48% of my excess body weight in the first 6 months after surgery, not counting the 50 pounds pre-surgery. So that was 93 pounds in the first 6 months. I was down 143 pounds total if you include the pre-surgery weight loss.

My program said that loss of 50% of excess body weight is typical for my program, so I was near target.  They also said that the second 6 months, I should expect to lose another 25%.

best wishes,

Carol

Also note: I was (and still am) HIGHLY disciplined on food and exercise post sleeve.  I was a disaster before it though LOL.

I was a lightweight.  I started at 196 lbs. ( I am a tiny 5'1") and lost down to 101 lbs. in 6.5 months.  I maintain closer to 105-108 lbs. range as 101 lbs seemed to low for me.

I had to lose 63 lbs and have lost 52 of them. I haven't had a stall until now so not too disappointed.  After that I would like to lose another 14.  I went from a size 20 to a size 10.
