B: chili con queso egg bites & 4 blackberries

L: green chili pesto chicken and 3 slices of cucumber w/ a dollop of ranch dressing

S: Protein Shake

D: Going to a friends house for dinner and having stew. I plan to mostly eat the stew meat and a couple of bites of veggies

E: Would like to get in a walk this afternoon. I'm cleaning the house though now; hopefully I have energy and am pain free when finished.

I woke up bright and early with the intent to run my 5.5 miles for my 5k training plan.  But it's raining, a lot.  I got geared up and was all set.  I put my water bottle in the mailbox for my water station, walked halfway down the street, turned around and walked back home.  The rain coming down wasn't an issue, but the puddles were huge and everywhere.  The sidewalks were flooded, the roads were horrible.  I knew that my shoes would get totally soaked, my feet would be cold and wet, and I'd get blisters.

And I feel really bad.  Whenever I have to skip a workout, there's that voice in my head that says, "you're just fat and lazy and looking for any excuse to quit."  Because, yeah, that used to be true.  And while part of me knows that's not the person I am now, it's a small part that knows that and the rest of me is split between thinking that's still the person I am now or knowing that that me is only a fingernail's bredth away.  And this really sucks.

1: frankenshake (I even drank this early since I knew I'd need to fuel before my run due to its duration.)
1.1: 2 slices american cheese
2: yogurt (I'll take this frozen in my purse to the movie theater and it'll be thawed in time to eat between the movies.)
3: sloppy joes, hamburger buns for the guys, caesar salad

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: 45 minutes yoga (15 minutes twist & align for back pain, 30 minutes beginner relaxation)

That does suck. I hate those voices in our head. My therapist and I talk quite a bit about the things those voices say and how different their story is from reality. Boy, it's tough to really believe that sometimes. Just remember, it's not like you walked back into your house, collapsed on the couch and started popping bon-bons. You still did 45 minutes of yoga today and I"m quite certain you will continue your fitness activities tomorrow too.

Chin up Gwen and I hope you enjoyed your movie.

Sloppy Joes seems to be a common theme today. You and Gwen are both having them and I just finished my planning for tomorrow and that's going to be my lunch tomorrow too. I've heard of women starting to get on the same cycle but the same meal ideas? That's a new one for me

Are the Chili Con Queso Egg Bites something you make from a recipe or buy somewhere? I am being sleeved a week from tomorrow, and am trying to write down meal ideas. I would love to know more about these. :-)
