Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!     

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!

Got my 18 tubes of blood taken this morning!  Hopefully everything turns out fine.  After our insurances changes in Jan. I might not be able to go every 6 months.

Hi Roz,

Be sure to drink plenty today after having all that blood drawn.  Our insurance changes every January, it has gotten so expensive, but is still better than not having it. 

Trying to stay on plan today.

Hi Roz!  Wow - 18 tubes - i don't think I've ever had that many taken.  I'm starting to wonder how my insurance might change too...

Yesterday was a grazing day - I was bored to tears at work and kept eating - now, I ate stuff that wasn't bad, but still.. I ate a lot.  

Today I gave into the donut calling my name - and WOW - could I feel how it affected me!  After about 2 hours I got ravenous hungry - to the point I had to eat something... I don't get like that when I eat properly.  

Had a nice conversation with one of our government reps about losing weight.  He was logging his food on Myfitnesspal and we discussed the various sites, then low-carb, WW, etc.  He's doing a great job.

B - coffee and glazed donut (ate it over a period of time)

L - Ok - here's where I fess up too - I ate part of a piece of pizza and some of its toppings waiting for my Subway to get here.  Then I'm eating the steak/cheese subway sandwich - of course I'm full and can't eat it all -  I'm eating the innards...

D - idk

water - I need to do something about this.

I hope you get good results on your labs.  I'm now not having labs until March - my appointment was for Jan, but it was moved.  I'm just going to stay vigilant on my vites... I think it's my new obsession.  I find the whole subject fascinating and love to read every post I see.  I wonder how many normies have issues and never know it - at least we're on the look out for things.

I was just like you when I was new to all this. Vitalady popped onto the scene on the DS board when I was 3 months post-op and I was hooked.  : )

Going to a Christmas Party tonight after work.  Planning to have 1 drink made with diet tonic.   It's right after work but I think I will eat at home before I go; otherwise I may be too tempted.
